ABOUT STREET SMART
Rooted in New York City. Built for people who want to understand their tools and put them to work.

Roberto C. Agosto — Founder, Street Smart NYC
The Founder
Roberto C. Agosto is a systems technician, author, and the founder of Street Smart NYC. Born and raised in New York City, he created Linux for the Street Smart out of frustration with technical explanations that felt disconnected from practical work.
His Street Smart Translation Methodology connects technical concepts with familiar situations: a security guard for a decision, an assembly line for a loop, and a specialized toolbox for a function.
Mission
Street Smart NYC makes technical ideas easier to put into practice. Familiar examples help explain unfamiliar systems, so you can build understanding instead of memorizing commands without knowing what they do.
The working habit is simple: Inspect, Change, Verify, Document. Understand the starting point, make a deliberate change, check the result, and leave a record you can use next time.
